The blood drive at Dragon Con in Atlanta, GA is the largest blood drive in the country. LifeSouth collects an average of 3,000 donors over the 5 day conference. For the past 3 years, I have helped organize and manage a social media contest that creates awareness for blood donation across our footprint. To encourage the use of #lifesouth, I created a “photobooth” area. Each year, the spike in our social media presence is remarkable.
